Made almost entirely of sterling silver and created in the shadowbox style, this adorable frog pin/pendant was created by Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration. The piece features a single turquoise piece along one side of the frog’s back, while the opposite side showcases triangular cut outs and a stamped step pattern, creating the shadowbox effect. The stone, light blue in color, is set in a simple sterling silver bezel and contains portion of brown matrix, while appliqued sterling dots comprise the frog’s eyes. The piece is finished with thin sterling panels shaped and cut out to form limbs. Hook bail is located at the top of the back of the head while pin runs horizontally across the back of the body. 1 3/8″ long x 1 7/8″ wide.
