A single stone of bright blue #8 turquoise containing large portions of brown matrix concentrated along one curve is set as the focal point of this traditional ring by Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration. The stone is set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern, followed by a sterling band stamped with scallop patterns, cut out along the edges and appliqued with two rows of five sterling dots each. Stone and silverwork are set atop a split sterling silver shank that merges 1/4 of the way toward the back and is also stamped with fine vertical lines. 1 3/8″ long x 1 1/8″ wide. Fits ring size 7.
