Navajo silversmith Ben Begay, known for his impressive use of sterling silver to create life-like feathers, exhibits the same skill in this beautiful pendant. The piece features a single turquoise stone at the top, just below the bail, set in a simple sterling silver bezel and finished with three appliqued sterling dots along the top. The stone also contains portions of brown and golden matrix, with a large sterling silver feather hanging from the bottom. Typical of Ben’s work, this feather features cut outs along the edges to give the feather movement, along with flowing stamped fine lines. 3 3/8″ long including bail x 3/4″ wide.
