Ten denim lapis stones dot a double strand, beaded necklace with four more along the naja portion in this traditional Navajo squash blossom set. Each of the stones along the beaded portion of the necklace creates the top of a sterling squash blossom, the stones set in sawtooth sterling silver bezels and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern, soldered to the bottom of which is a three pronged sterling blossom. Each stone is also bordered by leaf and flower sterling silverwork on the top and one side. Four additional denim lapis stones are set along the naja, one at each end and two at the top, which are bordered along the top curve by additional leaf and flower sterling silverwork. The naja is three printed, the center of which comprises a sterling rope pattern. Double sterling bead necklace merges into a single strand 3/4 of the way toward each end, and the necklace is finished with a hook and eye closure. Matching earrings mimic the squash blossoms along the necklace, featuring a single denim lapis stone bordered by leaf and flower sterling silverwork and with a three pronged blossom attached at the bottom. Necklace does not lay flat open for end to end measurement. Measures 12 1/4″ from top to bottom, for approximate end to end measurement of 24 1/2″. Earrings measure 1 3/4″ long including French hook x 1/2″ wide.
