Navajo silversmith Bennie Ration created these beautiful earrings in his signature style, using both turquoise and sterling silver to create traditional maidens. Each earring showcases a dangling, small, oval light blue-green turquoise stone set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded at the base by a sterling silver rope pattern. Each stone contains portions of brown matrix running throughout and is bordred at the bottom by a row of five appliqued sterling silver dots. Each stone hangs from a sterling silver maiden head, complete with deeply grooved rectangular eyes and a round, appliqued mouth. The forehead is stamped with vertical lines representing hair, while the head is bordered on two sides by a sterling silver bun also stamped with fine lines to represent hair. 2″ long including French hook x 11/16″ wide.
