Description

Multiple, etched stones are inlaid in lovely, vibrant patterns along with sterling silver to create this beautiful butterfly pendant by Zuni silversmith Tamara Pinto.  Golden mother of pearl, pink mussel shell, turquoise, malachite, coral and jet are inlaid along wings and body, the body separated from the wings by slivers of sterling silver.  Each top wing features turquoise, golden mother of pearl and pink mussel shell, while the body features entirely coral.  The butterfly’s bottom wings are inlaid with  malachite, coral and jet, and the piece is finished with jet and sterling antennae, and two applique sterling dots along the bottom portion of the wings.  2 1/2″ including bail x 2″ wide.
