A single stone of beautiful and unique Royston Ribbon turquoise, also known as Boulder turquoise, rests at the center of this lovely, traditional Navajo cuff bracelet. The stone, predominantly brown in color and containing only a single stripe, or ribbon, of blue, is set in a simple sterling silver bezel and surrounded by a sterling rope pattern at the base. This, in turn, is surrounded by various sterling applique work including scallop, triangle, and crescent moon designs. Stone and silverwork are set on a split sterling silver shank, two splits of which comprise sterling rope patterns, with the entire shank covered on each side of the stone by appliqued sterling panels stamped with scallop and dot designs. Shank merges about halfway toward each end, the merge points appliqued with sterling star patterns. 1 1/2″ wide with an inner end to end measurement of 5 3/4″ and a 1 1/8″ opening.
