Description
Featuring a unique step pattern handle, beautiful hand painted designs, and adorable additional clay details, this stunning, traditional wedding vase was created by Jemez potter Carol Lucero Gachupin. The peach step handle of the vase gives way to red painted openings, red painted step patterns extending downward from each opening onto the piece’s off-white body. This portion of the vase showcases hand painted flowers, feather patterns, and bird designs on one side, while the opposite features additional feather patterns as well as reoccurring weather designs. The side of the vase featuring the flower patterns is also set with adorable clay details, including a butterfly and two lady bugs. A black painted stripe rests just above the piece’s peach base, painted with reoccurring patterns. 9 3/4″ tall x 5 1/2″ wide.
