Traditional white Isleta clay is shaped and painted into this wonderfully unique singing storyteller by potter Mona Teller of the famous Teller family. The piece showcases a single, singing storyteller holding a song book, fitted with six children, all singing as well. The woman is painted with eyes closed and mouth open, with a beige face, brown hair, and teracotta and brown accents along her gown. Children are painted with teracotta and brown accents as well, and also feature closed eyes and round, open mouths. 4 3/8″ tall x 3 1/2″ wide x 3 3/8″ deep.
