Beads and slabs of orange spiny oyster make up this vibrant necklace by Santo Domingo artist Lupe Lovato. A seven piece orange spiny oyster jacla makes up the centerpiece of the necklace, and from each side protrude three strands of orange spiny oyster beads. The grouping of three strands on each side leads up to a single orange spiny slab, and at the top of each slab, the necklace turns into a single strand of orange spiny beads. Lupe is known for his exquisite use of shell and stone, and has been creating traditional Santo Domingo jewelry for decades. Necklace is finished with a hook and eye closure. Jacla measures 2 5/8″ long x 1 7/8″ wide. Necklace measures 31 3/4″ from end to end.
