Description
Painted in vibrant red, orange and green along with black and white accents, this adorable plate by Acoma potter Carolyn Concho features a parrot design as the focal point. The parrot, believed to have led the Acoma people to water upon the arrival of the Spanish, is surrounded by flower designs on either side, and by weather patterns including clouds and rain above. The plate is finished with a fun ladybug detail on the bottom, as well as a painted lizard and corn stalk alongside Carolyn’s signature. 3 3/4″ diameter.
