Deep blue lapis stones combine with shiny sterling silver to create this stunning Navajo squash blossom necklace and earring set by Lenora Garcia. Fourteen small, oval lapis stones are set within sterling silver squash blossoms on a double strand of sterling silver beads along the main portion of the necklace, while the sterling silver naja features five more lapis stones. All stones are set in sawtooth sterling silver bezels, while some of the lapis pieces contain portions of pyrite. The double strand of sterling beads merges into a single strand about 3/4 of the way up the necklace, which is finished with a hook and eye closure. Matching earrings feature a single lapis stone a piece, also in sawtooth sterling silver bezels, surrounded by a simple sterling silver band. Juxtaposition of the double strand of beads along the necklace and the naja does not allow for necklace to be laid flat to be measured end to end. Necklace measures 12″ from top to bottom, with naja measuring 1 3/4″ long x 1 3/4″ wide. Earrings measure 1 1/8″ long including French hook x 3/8″ wide.
