Incredibly intricate in both appearance and design, this gorgeous Hopi belt buckle by Edison Wadsworth features various overlay work, including a very detailed eagle at its center, surrounded by a Pueblos scene and various other patterns. The eagle overlaid at the center of the piece showcases outstretched wings that are delicately textured and etched at the ends, as well as an elaborate headdress, a sash across its chest, and clothing along its bottom half. A detailed Pueblo scene surrounds the eagle on the bottom and two sides, while the top of the piece showcases weather patterns, including cloud and rain designs. The perimeter of the piece has been left unadorned, leaving the center of the piece as the focal point. 3″ long x 2″ wide. Fits belt size 1 1/2″.
