Tribal Affiliation
Tribal Affiliation Part of the artist profile form has the artist identify their Tribal affiliation. Each Tribe or Pueblo affiliation allows us to identify the region certain pieces originated from. It is very common for artwork from similar areas to have similar characteristics, helping us to categorize from what area it comes. This is important because many similar designs have different meanings depending on where it originated.
